12. Answer the following questions in 100 - 120 words.  (5 marks)

Wanda and Maddie both belong to the poor section of the society. While Wanda is teased for her poverty and different culture, Maddie is scared that the same would happen to her if she supported Wanda in the story, The Hundred Dresses I and II.

Imagine a situation wherein Peggy again bullies another girl. Based on your understanding of Maddie and her decisions, write a dialogue where Maddie confronts Peggy.

He waited a moment in surprise, wondering why she didn't come nearer, and then, maddened by hunger, he divided at the fish.'

Do you think hunger was a good motivation for the young seagull in his first flight?

13. Answer the following questions in 100 - 120 words.

Bill or Oliver Lutkins was a complete contrast to the narrator. He is easily able to outwit him. How does he do so?

Or

Matilda suffered because she was not content with what life has given to her. Do you agree that we should be content with what life give us? Justify.
