Black soils are black in colour and are also known as regur soils. black soil is ideal for growing cotton and is also known as Black cotton soil. it is believed that climatic conditions along the parent Rock material are the important factors for the formation of black soil. Just type of soil is typical of the Deccan trap (Basalt) region spread over North West Deccan plateau and is made up of lava flows. They cover the plateaus of Maharashtra, Saurashtra, Malwa, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh and extend in the South  East direction along the Godavari and Krishna valley.
The black soil are made up of extremely fine that is clayey material. They are well known for their capacity to hold moisture. In addition, they are rich in soil nutrients, such as calcium carbonate, magnesium, potash and lime. These soils are generally poor in phosphorus contents. They develop deep cracks during hot weather, which helps in the proper aeration of the soil. These soils are sticky when wet and difficult to work on unless tilled immediately after the first shower or during the pre monsoon period.

A major step towards decentralization was taken in 1992. the constitution was amended to make the third tier of democracy more powerful and effective. Generally it has been noted from the histories of many, now developed, countries that at initial stages of development, primary sector was the most important sector of economic activity. as the methods of farming changed and agriculture sector began to prosper, it produced much more food than before. Many people could now take up other activities. there were increasing number of craft persons and traders. Buying and selling activities increased many times. Besides, there were also transporters, administrators, army etc. However, at this stage, most of the goods produced were natural products from the primary sector and most people were also employed in this sector.
Over a long time (more than 100 years) and especially because new methods of manufacturing were introduced, factories came up and started expanding. Those people who had earlier worked on farms now began to work in factories in large numbers. They were forced to do so as you read in history chapters. People begin to use many more goods that were produced in factories at cheaper rates. Secondary sector of gradually became the most important in total production and employment.
Hence, overtime, a shift had taken place. This means that the importance of the sectors had changed. In the past 100 years, there has been a father shift from secondary tertiary sector in developed countries. The service sector has become the most important in terms of Total production. most of the working people are also employed in the service sector. this is the general pattern observed in the developed countries.
